Quality and Environmental Policy

 

Its purpose is to establish the guiding principles and ethical guidelines for the actions and decisions of the Management Committee, as well as to commit ourselves to complying with the requirements of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, GDP, Aviation Security and OEA standards, continuously seeking to improve our processes and reduce our environmental impact.

XGL operates as a LOGISTICS OPERATOR, committed to offering the highest quality and safety service while protecting and preserving the environment and ensuring safe and healthy conditions for all our workers. All of this is based on human and responsible values, applicable to all hierarchical levels, areas of the company and stakeholders.

This Company Policy sets out the principles on which we base our actions and decisions, such as:

  • Acting with honesty, transparency and ethics in all commercial and internal company relations, respecting the working environment of all parties involved in the company, both internal and external.
  • Setting objectives in terms of quality, the environment and safety, promoting a safe, inclusive and collaborative working environment that stimulates creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Providing a working environment that prevents injuries, damage, incidents and occupational illnesses, ensuring the protection and well-being of staff.
  • Strive for excellence in all our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and focus, and fulfilling our social, environmental and economic obligations throughout our entire work chain.
  • Raise awareness among contractors and suppliers regarding damage prevention, supply chain/transport safety and compliance with specific quality standards.
  • Provide XGL staff with the training, resources and technical means necessary to perform their work properly, promoting their professional development and respecting personal circumstances that may influence their performance.
  • Commit to preventing and minimising pollution by implementing control processes that guarantee environmental protection and sustainability, and involving all staff, contractors and suppliers in reducing consumption and waste generation.
  • Integrate hazard identification, risk assessment and control determination into all the organisation’s processes, eliminating them where possible and reducing them through effective control measures, ensuring the safety and quality of services.
  • Comply with current legislation and regulations in the sector, as well as any other requirements to which the organisation subscribes, ensuring that they are updated and adapted to the activities carried out.
  • Encourage active participation and consultation with employees, involving all members of the organisation in the development, continuous improvement, maintenance of the Management System and safety culture of the services.

 

At XGL, it is a priority that this Policy is disseminated, understood, accepted, applied and maintained with the collaboration of all staff, at all levels, as well as by the stakeholders linked to our activity.

The Management and all XGL staff are committed to promoting an organisational culture aimed at anticipating the needs of our customers, detecting incidents and responding to their requirements and complaints, with the main objective of fully satisfying their expectations.
