As every year, at XGL / Spain we have faced the ISO 9001 and 14001 renewal audit in the same way that we face our day to day: giving 100%.
The success of this renovation is, in the words of Raquel Sánchez, XGL / Spain Quality Manager, “the result of daily work by the entire XGL staff to ensure that our company works as a perfect gear”.
In an increasingly competitive environment where customers continually raise their demands, we are convinced of the need for and importance of proper internal organization and environmental protection. The objective of our company is to develop the forwarder activity considering that the requirements of our clients and interested parties are a priority. Providing adequate conditions of quality, safety and environmental protection. Maintaining our facilities and activities in accordance with local, regional and state legislation. And in compliance with European and international regulations.
For this reason, it is important for us not to take any steps backwards and to continue to meet the quality standards to which we have committed ourselves each year. Because we want to continue adding reasons for our clients to find in us the reliable partner with which to carry out successfully their operations.
What do we commit to with ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 certification establishes the guidelines that a company’s Quality Management System must comply with. With it we are committed to maintaining quality standards that conform to the ISO standard. And the goods, services and production process of our company are analyzed in detail to certify their quality and in search of continuous improvement.
What does ISO 14001 assess?
The 14001 certificate guarantees the correct implementation of the Environmental Management System. Increasingly aware of the impact of climate change, having this certification demonstrates XGL / Spain’s environmental commitment. It demonstrates our intention to respect the environment and to minimize the impact that our commercial activity may have.
The areas covered by ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications are closely linked to our Quality Policy and our sustainable development objectives. Objectives that are, in turn, framed within the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 of the United Nations. We invite you to learn more about XGL / Sustainable on our website.
